It is always a long wait when you are watching for the babies to come. Knowing you carefully matched a sire and dam and what that perfect match potentially will cria't. This result should be the epitome of what you are breeding toward after careful and strategic planning. The 2008 crop of crias are exactly what we had hoped they would be.

*NOT FOR SALE*
This is the first of
the Eagle daughters crossed with our full Peruvian herdsire, Marisco.
We acquired Marisco for this VERY purpose and boy did he hit a
homerun with Kestrel. Long ago, after careful bloodline watching we
decided that Eagle's offspring definitely needed to be bred to
outcross lines because of the amount of foundation Patterson lines he
has. This cross was done to enhance the best of well respect North
American and Peruvian lines. This big gal is a mix of North American,
Canadian and Peruvian lines. Her barn name "Kiwi" comes from our
affectionate nickname for Terry when he is visiting here in the
U.S.

DOB 5/15/08
*Sold, Congrats to Margaret VanCamp & Cindy Cieciwa of Pitchfork Llamas*
The first of our true classic pack performance breeding program results. This male is out of a Rocky Mountain Jester daughter and by our top show and pack male Anders Tobias. Both sides of this combined pedigree has hardcore pack and all around llamas and proven classic lines in it. Mazama has already been nicknamed "Little Toby" because he looks so much like a lighter version of his sire! With his basic training and handling, this guy is already showing great promise as a calm and easy to work with llama. He will be moving to Michigan in January 2009 and will stand there when he is old enough to create new packing lines there.

*Sold, Congrats to the Zeiler's who snapped this guy up two years before he was even born*
The second offspring born out of our select classic program. This male is special with him being born on his dam's 20th birthday and a half brother to top show llama "Isle Eagle." Tatum is destined to be a brilliant male with a sire and dam as amazing as Toby and Aster! This is the one many folks have been waiting to see and we couldn't be happier with him. Special thank you to baby EXPERTS Grandpa Jim and Grandma Marilynn Larson for taking such good care of him and birthing him while we were at the Portland Rose Parade. This guy is loved and cherished......More pictures COMING soon! Tatum will be improving pack lines in Montana when he is old enough.
