Eagle |
Eagle throws solid
and dark colored offspring. The vast majority have white markings on
the face/legs and Eagle's long bannana shaped ears. Most of them have
his fiber luster and curl. They all have his willing attitude and
gentle "can do" disposition with a good mind. As of now, several are
doing quite well in performance, showing and 4-H homes. As we do
performance ourselves, we can honestly say that the Eagle crias are
the easiest and smartest we have trained! Many of their owners
contact information is listed so that you may inquire for yourself
about Eagle's production. We hand select the females that are bred to
Eagle to ensure that we not only get the best genetic crosses, but to
make sure all the "Eagle Babies" have good homes. Crias may be for
sale now, but will not leave their current homes until they are
completely trained (unless you are an experienced llama person).
We are unique in that we offer complete services for our outside
breeding customers. Females that make it through our selection
process are top notch and considered the best that can be bred by our
standards. We do not keep doing breedings and flood the market, we
prefer to wait until the majority of the Eagle kids are sold before
doing more. This helps to keep a strong market for his offspring.
Outside breedings are given the option of having their offspring
shown and many are sold by us for the owners. We do not breed much
ourselves, so there is no direct competition with our customers.
There are many benefits to being part of the Eagle family! Please
contact any of our outside breeding customers to find out about our
follow-up service.

* All deceased babies did not
die of genetic related problems. One
died inside the mother, one
died from pneumonia, one died of an infection, another was born
unformed (vet thought dam got into a poisonous plant?) and the other
died as
a result of the dam not having
milk. All others were adult animals who died of unrelated
causes.
