All three of these illustrations are artist's conceptions of possible cabin designs for the 22' Tolman Skiff. The forward cuddy cabin on all three is identical and only the pilothouse sides, windshield style and rooftop details are varied in order to build three very different looking cabin designs. In fact, any of the three can be built on the same building jig and then joined to a Tolman 22' hull. They are made of light weight, strong marine plywood; joined, coated and sealed with marine epoxy and fiberglass cloth. They can be fitted with a large V-berth and portable toilet forward in the cuddy cabin and with seating and a small camping galley in the pilot house. All three have a flush, self bailing deck from the main cabin bulkhead aft to the transom. A rear bulkhead with door can be added to the pilot house or it can be left open.
