 The Northwest is known for outdoor activities. Whatcom County has some of the best hiking, mountain biking, and skiing in North America. My family loves to put our equipment together and drive to Mt. Baker for cross country skiing.
The upper Skagit river, the Nooksack and Chilliwack rivers, as well as many lakes and streams in the area offer great fishing, including fly fishing, another past time my sons and I enjoy doing as a family.
