My intention had been only to provide a paperless on-line catalog and a respectable presence on the web so that I could learn about it while promoting my work. But in the course of learning about this medium, reading about it and involving myself more, I quickly found that beyond the flamers and rif-raf there were thousands of people around the world writing to news groups and mailing lists, engaging in wonderfully creative friendly conversations, casually tossing around knowledge and thoughts so vast that I felt humble trepidation. They, I felt, were the competent ones.

Who else might be lurking? Every other sort, certainly, but it struck me that these are mostly generous folks - the ones making themselves known - and most certainly here quietly lurks an enormous untapped wealth of knowledge in vastly divergent realms, an iceberg of unknown but huge dimension on nearly any subject imaginable. I now hope my web site will reveal some of that knowledge; I hope it will enrich my life by encouraging communications with people around the world.

With this new grander goal in mind I feel a responsibility to hold up my end of the bargain, with generosity toward those coming along just behind me, I've included more than my products and a commercial catalog. I've begun to organize my thoughts, and included what I hope is the seed of a modest "how to" book with tips and "tricks of the trade." I hope it will grow into something useful. This has become an album of images and thoughts as well as an invitation and an exploration to meet more people out there in "cyberspace." If my work, play, and thoughts interest you ,then please feel encouraged to write.
