About Carl Allen of the Wanderers

Carl Started singing Folk Music in the late 50's, caught up in the Kingston Trio Era, and he has never stopped. Hooking up with Bill Murlin in 1959, he sang the high tenor parts to Bill's bass. Both have migrated towards second tenors with age. Allen has done two television specials for KCTS Channel 9 in Seattle and completed a two year tour of the Washington State for Inquiring Mind Series which is sponsored by the Washington State Commission for the Humanities. Carl does a first person characterization of Woody Guthrie singing the Columbia River Songs.
