Robert Lopresti was raised in New Jersey
and has lived for almost two decades in Bellingham,
Washington. He is a librarian
at Western Washington University.
Rob is the author of a mystery novel, Such
A Killing Crime, which takes place in Greenwich Village during the folk music revival. He has also written more than thirty mystery stories,
including a winner of the Derringer Award, and a nominee for the Anthony
Award. He edited the book Thurber
on Crime.
Rob is also a singer-songwriter whose CD Can
I Blame You? contains 18 of is songs, including “White Wolf,” which appears in his novel. His songs have been performed by Rebel Voices,
Tom Rawson, Larry Hanks and Laura Smith, Richard Tucker,
and Cathy Britell, among others.
