Terry McNichols, M.S.

Professional and Educational Background

Terry McNichols, a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (Washington license number LH00004797), a National Certified Counselor (NBCC #34688) and a past Clinical Member of the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy, earned her M.S. in Marriage and Family Therapy from Seattle Pacific University and Presbyterian Counseling Services. Terry’s training focused on structural/strategic family therapy from a systems theory perspective. 

Terry has a Christian basis for personal values and world view. She was involved in counseling in the Teen Parent Program and was director of Bethany Christian Services, Pregnancy Counseling and Adoption Services,  prior to entering private practice. She has had additional training in Brief Solution-focused Therapy, EMDR, Thought Field Therapy, and Virginia Satir’s methods, as well as many other areas of continued education.
