"Tefillah is not some religious obligation. It is the gateway to a living relationship with Hashem."
Prayer stands at the heart of Jewish life, yet many people struggle to experience its depth, beauty, and transformative power. We pray every day, but often feel distracted, disconnected, or unsure how to access the deeper dimensions hidden within the Siddur and our relationship with Hashem.
This course is an invitation to enter the inner world of tefillah.
Over seven weeks we will explore the foundations of Jewish prayer through the teachings of our sages in the lens of Chassidut and Kabbalah. Together we will learn how to pray with greater awareness, develop a more personal connection with Hashem, and bring new life into our daily tefillah.
Discover the true purpose of prayer, the relationship between the giver and receiver, the importance of praying for the Shechinah, and the unique roles of both the Siddur and personal prayer.
Learn practical preparation for prayer, develop deeper focus and kavanah, understand the power of communal prayer, and explore why prayers are not always answered in the way we expect.
Uncover the inner meaning and spiritual ladder hidden in the daily prayers, from Korbanot through Aleinu, and learn how the Siddur guides us toward connection with Hashem.
Explore the power of Tehillim, how to recite it with heart and sincerity, and practical ways to make it a consistent part of your spiritual life.
Learn the art of personal conversation with Hashem and develop a practical approach to building a lasting and meaningful practice of personal prayer.
Discover how to navigate periods of spiritual distance, overcome inner barriers, and continue growing even when prayer feels difficult.
Enter the unique world of Shabbat prayer and learn how its special tefillot elevate, enrich, and complete the entire week.
Each live Zoom session will include Torah learning, guided discussion, questions and answers, and a meditation designed to help bring the teachings from the mind into the heart.
The atmosphere of the course will be open, welcoming, and free of judgment, allowing participants to learn, share, ask questions, and grow together in a supportive environment.
Participants will receive access to a dedicated WhatsApp group where inspiration, insights, reminders, and encouragement will be shared throughout the week to help maintain momentum between classes.
Each week includes practical assignments and spiritual exercises designed to help integrate the teachings into daily life and transform learning into lived experience.
All sessions will be recorded and made available to participants. These recordings will remain available for future review, creating a personal library of teachings that you can return to whenever you need guidance, inspiration, or renewal.
All proceeds from this course will go toward supporting my family, maintaining our learning center in Tzfat, and helping provide Shabbat meals and hospitality for those who visit our community throughout the year.
