The arched corridor of this Mosque in Marrakech is a passage for men to pray daily. But is more than that. The labyrinth framed in a door to the street becomes the entrance for the oldest and the youngest too. A tradition followed from generation to generation. The warm tones attracted my attention at first sight while I was melting in a city-walk through the capital of Morocco. Looking for some fresh shadow and silence away from the noisy main Medina, I asked for permission to use my camera inside the mosque. I took my shoes off, covered my tattoos, washed my hands and entered the building. It was my first solo trip ever and a perfect start to understand the value of respect. Religious buildings have always been an attraction for me eye. The style of Arab mosques definitely evoke centuries of history. A unique story behind the picture.
