Russian Imperial Bank Notes

Five notes. Three design series (1898, 1905, 1909). One Governor — Shipov — connecting the entire collection across denominations. Three distinct cashier variants. Each note represents a different chapter in EZGB's evolving design philosophy: the architectural historicism of the late 19th century (1 Ruble); the chromatic complexity of the transitional period (3 Ruble); and the mature multi-color security printing program of the pre-WWI era (5, 10, 25 Rubles).

The collection spans the entire viable circulation period of gold-standard Imperial Russian currency — from the Witte-era monetary reforms of the 1890s through the suspension of gold convertibility in August 1914. These notes were redeemable for gold coins at any State Bank branch in the Russian Empire. They ceased to be so when the First World War began.

All notes are genuine period issues. Pre-1918 orthography is consistent throughout. No restoration or cleaning detected. Condition disclosed fully per note above.
