Not with some sterile little reading lamp clipped to a page, but with something that felt like it belonged there — a tiny lantern, warm and amber, tucked right into the row of books like it had always lived there. We built it the way we wished the perfect reading nook would look if we could shrink it down and slide it onto a shelf: ornate black ironwork, a hand-forged look, a soft glow that makes the gold lettering on old book covers catch the light.
